Sarah M Lee

Sarah studied English Literature at University College London (UCL) in the late 1990s and trained herself as a photographer.

In 2000 she was offered a freelance position at the Guardian and has continued to work for the Guardian and Observer ever since. Sarah is specialized in portraiture, features, The Arts and is interested in all photography that focuses on people.

Sarah is an official Ambassador for Leica Camera and has produced stunning photography projects taken on a Leica. One of her projects in 2017 called  "Tender are the Nighthawks“ was shot entirely on a Leica CL with a 50mm Summilux lens - open at f1.4 or f2 in very low light. This meant she had to be very accurate with her focusing.
